Good to know
Text only: no layout, images, columns or tables. For a faithful copy of a formatted document, this is not the right tool.
Questions about this tool
- My PDF is a scan. Why is the Word file empty?
- A scan holds pictures of text, not text. Reading it would need OCR, which this tool does not include; the tool warns you when no text is found.
- Is Arabic text kept correctly?
- Arabic lines are written as right-to-left paragraphs. Word order within a line follows how the PDF stored it; most PDFs store it correctly, some do not.
